Equipment Maintenance, Repairs & Upgrades

CTR Works (Concrete Tool Repair) can test and troubleshoot most equipment on 120V, 240V, 208V 3-phase, and 480V 3-phase power. We use multimeters and diagnostic testing to verify electrical specs, including amperage draw under load. During inspection, we also check for excessive vibration, belt slippage, bearing noise, bent shafts, and worn or damaged heads—so issues are identified and corrected before the machine goes back to work.

Equipment We Service

Concrete Grinder

  • Change engine oil/filter, replace air filter, and verify start/run, idle, and throttle response.

  • Replace spark plugs; set belt tension to factory spec; inspect propane/fuel/vacuum hoses and fittings; replace as needed.

  • Diagnose vibration/noise and driveline wear; service hub bearings and related components for smooth operation.

  • Replace worn parts as required (belt, carburetor, hoses, hub bearing) and complete a final safety/function test.

Auto Scrubber

  • Clean recovery tank and float sensor; inspect/adjust squeegee and scrub brushes; verify proper suction and scrub performance.

  • Clean battery terminals/cables; check battery state of charge and replace if needed.

  • Check trans-axle fluid level and top off; grease rear casters and inspect drive components.

  • Replace wear items as needed: head brushes, squeegee blades, skirt around the heads; check carbon brushes in electric motors.

Vacuum

  • Clean HEPA and sock filters; check airflow/suction and overall operation.

  • Inspect electrical connections; clean inside the electrical panel; inspect power cord and strain relief for damage.

  • Replace HEPA and sock filters as needed; check motor amperage draw and confirm parameter/settings are correct.

  • Inspect/replace casters and hardware; final function test to verify stable performance on-site.

Burnisher

  •  Change engine oil and filter, replace air filter, and perform an operational inspection (start/run, idle, throttle response).

  • Replace spark plugs, set belt tension to factory spec, and inspect all fuel/vacuum/propane hoses and fittings; replace as needed.

  • Diagnose vibration/noise and driveline wear; service hub bearings and related components to restore smooth burnishing.

  • When required, replace key components (belt, carburetor, hoses, hub bearing) and verify safe, consistent performance.

Polyurea Pump

  •  Flush the system with approved cleaner to break down hardened material in pumps, lines, and the manifold.

  • Inspect/clean pump section, filters, and valves; confirm proper flow, pressure, and balanced output.

  • Adjust chain/belt to factory spec; grease manifold and moving components; verify smooth operation.

  • Inspect electrical connections and hydraulic lines for wear/leaks; replace with stainless-steel braided lines/manifold components as needed.

Twister/Hurricane

  •  Hydraulics: troubleshoot slow lift/drive, pressure loss and leaks; service pumps, hoses, fittings, cylinders, valves.

  • Drive/steering: fix tracking/pull and jerky movement; service drive motors, hubs, chains, linkages; verify smooth response.

  • Cutting head: replace blades, blade holders, drums/hardware; set depth/angle for better removal rate and finish.

  • PM & safety: fluids/filters, grease points, fastener torque, electrical/switch checks; job-ready inspection.

Shot Blaster

  • Blast system: inspect/replace wheel, blades, liners, control cage, seals; restore profile & production.
  • Drive & bearings: diagnose vibration/noise, replace bearings/shafts, service belts/chains, set alignment/tension.

  • Dust & airflow: fix suction loss, leaks, hoses, filters; protect internals and keep jobsite clean.

  • Electrical/safety: test switches, contactors, wiring, E-stop; verify smooth start/stop and safe operation.

Demolition Tools

  • Power loss/leaks: rebuild impact section (piston/striker, seals, o-rings); correct lubrication.

  • Chuck & retainer: replace bushings, springs, retainers; reduce bit slop and premature bit wear.

  • Motor/gearbox: diagnose overheating/low RPM, replace bearings/gears, tune brush/trigger components where applicable.

  • Electrical: repair cords, switches, wiring, and battery/charger connections; test under load before return.

Concrete Saws

  • Inspect/repair engine or motor drive system; tune belts/pulleys, throttle, and start/run performance.

  • Service blade shaft, arbor, bearings, and guards; correct vibration, runout, and uneven cutting.

  • Check depth-control and tracking components; adjust wheels, linkages, and alignment for straight joints.

  • Replace worn blades/arbors/hardware; service fluids/filters and perform a full safety/function check.

Some of the brands we service include:

SASE, HTC, Husqvarna, Scanmaskin, Innovatech, Pullman Ermator, Werkmaster, Blastrac, Edco, Velo Bond, Hi-Tech Polyurea Pumps, U.S. Saws, Metabo, Diamatic, and many more!
